Dag-Håkon Eriksen
Research Associate
Dag-Håkon Eriksen is Associate Professor at VID Specialized University in Norway. He is the academic director of the Center of Values-based Leadership and Innovation, and he teaches in the master program of Value-based leadership at VID. Eriksen is the chair of the research group Leadership, Organizing and Values in Practice. His research interest and publications center on values-based leadership and social innovation in the nonprofit, faith-based sector. He has published on issues such as organizational innovation, social innovation, community development, succession of leadership, empowerment, vision and strategy, and reflective organizational leadership. Before re-entering academia, he was involved in establishing a youth organization in Norway, leading a major reform in the church of Norway, developing theological education in a college in Ethiopia and leading the international programs of a Norwegian NGO. He has also organized several national and international conferences.
