Thomas Harvey serves as Academic Dean of the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (OCMS). He has written extensively on issues of Church and State in China and Southeast Asia. He authored Acquainted with Grief: Wang Mingdao’s Stand for the Persecuted Church in China as well as numerous articles on Christianity, Christian social engagement, and Mission. In particular, Dr Harvey examines ideological tensions in modern nations between the state and religious minorities.
