Monty Lynn was trained as a social worker, psychologist, and manager. He holds the WW Caruth Chair of Owner-Managed Business at Abilene Christian University where he teaches management and international development. His interest in wellbeing at work and in life, and his Christian faith, have drawn him to exploring expressions of compassion and integral mission through Christian history. He has served as a Fulbright Scholar in Slovenia, a visiting researcher at World Vision, and a Research Associate at OCMS. Accompanying him on all these journeys is his wife, Libby.
