Dr Daniel Button is a theologian, director of Gateway Theology School based in Gloucester UK, and an associate minister in the CofE. Originally from Minnesota USA, he served 20 years in Africa, now a British citizen. His long-term interest in the theological basis of creation care and Christian response to climate change brought him to COP26 and motivates much of his teaching. Dan’s PhD research (completed at OCMS in 2020) combined a specialism in eschatology with scientific insights to explore issues of continuity in moving from creation to new creation.
