Fees
Enrolment is the first step in defining the status of the research student. The admission process is completed by the name being entered on the roll of the Research Programme, when an offer of full enrolment by OCMS is accepted in writing by the applicant. In doing so the applicant is committed to a first residence of normally ten weeks in the first year from the date of enrolment. Enrolment in OCMS, subject to satisfactory participation and progress, continues to the completion of the research, and fees are due annually.
A. OCMS Stage
The Research Induction School forms the first part of the OCMS Stage of the Research Degrees Programme, and continues until the student's proposal is accepted by the University as well as by OCMS.

Appointment of Supervisor prior to registration with the university: Prior to registration with the University and in consultation with the mentor and student, a supervisor may be appointed, where it is considered to be in the best interest of the student. In this event the fee 'For the University Stages' will be charged to such a student.
It is important that participants discuss their financial needs with the Bursar's office if there are circumstances preventing them from meeting these obligations. Failure to meet financial obligations will result in suspension of tutorial support, and removal from access to the online campus and could, ultimately, lead to the non-completion of the course of study..
